Construction projects come with their share of challenges, and one of them is getting paid! In an industry where working capital management is vital, getting paid on time is a major issue. To achieve this, it's essential to put in place sound preventive strategies, and to know how to react promptly in the event of non-payment. In the latter case, a formal notice of default may be necessary, or even recourse to the courts. Finally, we sometimes need to consult a lawyer to help us in our efforts.
During this training session, we will clarify your debt collection questions, specifically related to the construction industry, including the following: What preventive strategies should I put in place? Which clauses should be included in my contract and which should be avoided? What should a demand letter contain? How do small claims courts and other tribunals work?
Our objective is to provide you with effective tools, both in terms of prevention and intervention, to strengthen your receivables management and promote better financial health for your company!
