General Objective :

Introduce the fundamentals of sustainable development and their practical application during the execution of construction projects.

Specific Objectives :

  • Understanding the Environmental Impacts of Construction
  • Identify regulatory or expected sustainability requirements
  • Knowing how to identify opportunities for action on the job site
  • Become familiar with the expectations of project owners

Contents :

This module presents the principles of sustainable development as applied to construction sites: waste reduction, water management, reduction of emissions from machinery, responsible sourcing, etc. It discusses the requirements imposed by certain solicitations for bids (e.g., environmental management plans), the performance criteria expected during construction, and the contractor’s role in the sustainable value chain.

Cancellation / Modification

All requests to cancel or modify an activity must be made in writing.3 working days before the event. QPAT retains the full amount of the registration fee if the request to cancel the activity is made by2 working days or less.

In all cases, APECQ agrees to modify the activity at no charge. In addition, it is possible to be replaced by another person to whom the certificate will be sent.

APECQ reserves the right to cancel any training activity. In such a case, ACOEQ's sole responsibility will be to refund in full the registration fees paid by the participant.
