Workshop Objective:

This 2-hour workshop is designed to help executives and OHS managers in the construction industry better understand the psychosocial risks associated with Bill 27 and integrate them effectively into their OHS culture. Throughout the training, you will be asked to draft an action plan to implement within your organization.

What the training aims to achieve

The training enables participants to recognize the main psychosocial risks that may arise in their workplace, reflect on their current occupational health and safety plan, and identify the first steps to take to prevent human-related issues tied to workload, support, recognition, autonomy, and organizational justice.

Who is this training course intended for?

This training is intended for individuals involved in prevention, management, or team leadership within construction companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

In particular, it aims to:

  • Executives and entrepreneurs;
  • Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) officials;
  • Liaison officers;
  • The members of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee;
  • Managers, foremen, or supervisors;
  • Administrative officials called upon to contribute to the OHS plan or to the management of human resources issues.

It is particularly relevant for companies that want to better understand their obligations under Act 27 and integrate psychosocial risks into their occupational safety and health (OSH) culture in a simple, practical way that is tailored to their on-the-ground reality.

Summary of the Training Content

This 2-hour training session will enable participants to:

  • Understanding the Role of Psychosocial Risks in the Obligations Under Law 27;
  • Identify the main categories of psychosocial risks: workload, support, recognition, autonomy, and organizational justice;
  • Make concrete connections to the realities of the construction industry: job sites, offices, managers, foremen, occupational safety and health (OSH) officers, and field crews;
  • Identify risk indicators that may be present in their company;
  • Reflect on their current occupational health and safety plan and the mechanisms already in place;
  • Determine who should be involved in the process;
  • Develop a simple action plan outlining the first steps to take to integrate psychosocial risks into their occupational safety and health culture.

Cancellation / Modification

All requests to cancel or modify an activity must be made in writing.3 working days before the event. QPAT retains the full amount of the registration fee if the request to cancel the activity is made by2 working days or less.

In all cases, APECQ agrees to modify the activity at no charge. In addition, it is possible to be replaced by another person to whom the certificate will be sent.

APECQ reserves the right to cancel any training activity. In such a case, ACOEQ's sole responsibility will be to refund in full the registration fees paid by the participant.
