A 66-hour program recognized by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ), to qualify for a general contractor's license in "Exécution de travaux de construction" for subcategories 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.2, 1.3. and be exempt from the RBQ exam in this field.
This module includes 3 courses:
Goal: To understand the scope and role of the main stakeholders in the Regulation respecting the guarantee plan for new residential buildings, and the roles and responsibilities of the contractor.
Goal: To know, understand and apply the requirements for fire protection, means of evacuation, occupant protection, sanitation and occupant accessibility, as described in the Quebec Construction Code.
Goal: Know, understand and apply building construction requirements, from excavation to mechanical, electrical, structural, building envelope and interior finishing, in compliance with the Quebec Construction Code.
