The training is based on the various cycles of the CCQ payroll system.
Undergraduate Program, a weekly report focused on payroll calculations: gross pay, time off and vacation, safety allowances, taxable benefits, government deductions, construction-specific deductions, government contributions, construction-specific contributions, net pay, and determining the hourly cost of payroll.
Second Cycle, whether monthly or periodic, focuses primarily on managing deductions: provincial, federal, CNESST, CCQ, RBQ, or other agencies. The concept of a “period” will be clearly defined to facilitate the management of this step. The third cycle, which is less regular, is ad hoc. It will address non-recurring but mandatory obligations: termination of employment, workplace accidents, payroll deductions, etc.
Finally, we’ll wrap things up with the annual cycle: the issuance of Relevé 1 and T4 forms, as well as CNESST (labor standards and CSST).
